Konanggo Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Services (KACHS) is dedicated to protecting, preserving, and conserving land, waterways, and salt and freshwater environments. Our work is grounded in Aboriginal cultural knowledge, lived experience, and deep respect for Country.
Our team of Aboriginal cultural consultants and educators provides culturally informed knowledge and guidance about the landscape, environment, and cultural significance of Country. We work closely with clients to support understanding, respect, and culturally informed practice across a wide range of settings.
KACHS delivers services including cultural site assessments, traditional ecological knowledge studies, and heritage management planning. We also offer a broad range of cultural services such as Aboriginal cultural tours, cultural workshops, education programs for schools including incursions and excursions, Aboriginal artefact and tool making, Aboriginal weaving, and traditional food and plant knowledge sharing.
KACHS also provides education on Aboriginal history and truth telling, including stories shared by Stolen Generations survivors. These sessions support understanding of historical and ongoing impacts while honouring the strength, resilience, and survival of Aboriginal people and communities.
Our services are inclusive and welcoming of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds. Through respectful cultural exchange, we aim to foster a deeper appreciation of Aboriginal culture, history, and the environment, while strengthening connection to Country.

Robert Young (Bob)
My name is Bob
I am a Ngunawal & Gomeroi/Kamilaroi traditional custodian descendent. My bloodlines and clans are through the Carrolls, from Yass NSW & ACT, a Tighe from Gomeroi Country Moree, Terry Hie Hie a Nean from Quirindi,Caroona & Tamworth.
With over 20 years experience as registered cultural consultancy business & 15 years experience with in the Aboriginal Tourism industry.
Pamela Young (Aunty Pam)
My name is Aunty Pam, I am a Gomeroi & Ngunawal Woman. My clans and bloodlines are Carroll from Yass (Hollywood Mission NSW & through out ACT. Tighe from Gomeroi Country, Moree & Terry Hie Hie. I am a stolen generation survivor. I have over 40 years experience with in the tourism & Education industry. I also have over 30 years experience with in the cultural consultancy industry.
Robert Young Senior (Uncle Bobby)
My name is Uncle Rob, I am a Kamilaroi Man, my clans and bloodlines are Young and Nean. Nean from Caroona, Quirindi, Tamworth NSW.
I am a stolen generation survivor. I share and educate my truth telling story as a survivor from the Kinchela Boys Home in Kempsey NSW.
I continue to share my story and advocate through my lived experience and work at the Kinchella Boys Home Aboriginal Corporation (KBHAC) & Konanggo.
I have over 10 years experience with in the Education industry.
Ashleianne (Ash)
My name is Ash, I am a Gamilaroi, Ngunawal, Gudang, Yadhaykenu & Wakidth Woman. My bloodlines are from Quirindi, Moree, Yass, FNQ Capeyork Mapoon, Injinoo & Badu Island in the Torres Straits. With many years of experience with advocacy & Cultural education & Aboriginal Weaving.
